The long-awaited Captain Marvel trailer is likely coming out soon, and Marvel Studios was right to hold off on releasing it until now. After a highly successful 2018, Marvel's first outing of 2019 sees Carol Danvers finally take center stage, becoming the first female superhero to headline a solo film in the MCU (Wasp co-lead Ant-Man and the Wasp). There's much excitement surrounding the project, and fans can't wait to get a good look at what directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck have in store. The EW spread was great for photos and details, but nothing beats footage.

Over the summer, Marvel boss Kevin Feige indicated the first Captain Marvel trailer would debut at some point in the fall. With the recent revelation that star Brie Larson will appear on ABC's Good Morning America on Tuesday, September 18, all signs are pointing to the trailer coming out then. The delay has been quite frustrating for viewers, but Marvel's strategy is quite sound.

For starters, Captain Marvel has been in post-production for only a couple of months. In an amusing case of serendipity, it wrapped filming on the same day Ant-Man and the Wasp opened in theaters. Since this is a special effects heavy blockbuster, the creative team probably wants to take as much time as they can to fine-tune the CGI before sharing it with the general public. The last thing anyone wants is for the excitement for the trailer to be dampened by questionable visual effects. While there's still plenty of work left to do before final picture is locked, there should be enough finished footage to put together a short teaser. Plus, it's fairly standard for Marvel to unveil the first preview for a new film five or six months out from release, so this isn't anything out of the ordinary.

It also makes sense to time the trailer release with the premiere of Venom, which opens in a few weeks. Sony's comic book adaptation is expected to be a big box office hit, possibly breaking the October opening weekend record. Of course, by now Marvel Studios doesn't need any help to promote their brand, but it's typical industry practice for upcoming tentpoles to attach trailers to some of the current year's major films. Venom, which is rated PG-13 so it could possibly crossover with the MCU one day, is the only franchise tentpole coming out between now and November's Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. If the Infinity Warmarketing campaign is anything to go by, Marvel will probably begin revving up the hype machine for Avengers 4 around November, with a title announcement and first trailer. It's a good idea to give Captain Marvel some time to itself before the epic team-up takes the spotlight for a while.

Marvel hasn't had a legitimate commercial disappointment since The Incredible Hulk in 2008, so it's safe to say they have a good handle on advertising. In the first decade of the MCU, they've been able to take an assortment of B-level superheroes and obscure comic book titles, and turn them into household names. The results speak for themselves, and fans shouldn't doubt their methods. It has been a long wait for Captain Marvel, but now that all of Marvel's 2018 films are out, they can finally turn their attention to what's next.

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s one of the most awaited films of the year, U Turn, which hit the screens on Ganesh Chaturthi, has been leaked online few hours after its release. It was made available on Movierulez, a torrent site, which came as a big shock for the makers. Earlier, reports were doing the rounds that Samantha’s other Tamil release, Seema Raja, was also leaked online by Tamil Rockers. However, it was removed within a few hours.

U Turn is a bilingual movie that released in both Tamil and Telugu. It fought the box office battle with Sivakarthikeyan-Samantha starrer Seema Raja in Tamil Nadu whereas it released alongside Naga Chaitanya’s Shailaja Reddy Alludu in Telugu.

It is the remake of 2016 Kannada hit movie and is directed by Pawan. The film has received a positive response. Thus, there are chances that this leak may affect its box office performance.

On the other hand, Seema Raja minted Rs 13.5 crore on its Day 1 at Box Office. It is yet to be seen if the business of the movie gets affected in the coming days.

Earlier, popular films like Aruvi and Kaala were also leaked online which caused a great loss to the distributors.

Airtel has now introduced a new prepaid plan for a price of Rs 419. This plan comes with a validity period of 75 days.

Recently, Airtel was offering a three-month free Netflix subscription through the Airtel TV and My Airtel apps for postpaid users and V-Fiber Home Broadband plans. After the three-month period, subscribers will have to pay for their Netflix subscription using their Airtel postpaid or home broadband bill.

Airtel will announce details of eligible postpaid mobile and home broadband plans in the next few weeks. Airtel stated that the Netflix content can be accessed on the apps through a dedicated row on the Airtel TV app.

Telecom Regulator TRAI has imposed penalties on major operators, including Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular (now merged), for slipping on various service quality benchmarks for the March quarter, according to multiple sources.

The fines cover various parameters and service areas, and all the operators are in the process of making the payment, sources told PTI. About Rs 34 lakh fine has been imposed for March 2018 quarter on Reliance Jio, the aggressive player whose offerings since 2016 have shaken the market and triggered a bruising tariff war among operators.

Bharti Airtel -- which was the largest telecom operator in the country till the merger of Vodafone and Idea Cellular shuffled the pecking order late last month -- has been fined to the tune of about Rs 11 lakh for the three months to March, as per sources.

OnePlus just released the new Open Beta 3 Android 9.0 Pie-based software update for OnePlus 6 devices participating in the open beta program. The patch is mostly fixing bugs and improving overall stability, although there are a few other interesting improvements as well.

The changelog says that users can expect better face unlock and fingerprint scanner behavior and there's now added support for Google Assistant or other third-party assistant apps. You can launch the assigned assistant by holding the power button for 0.5 seconds.

OnePlus also extended the support for Parallel Apps by including Telegram, Discord, IMO, Uber and OLA. The OnePlus Switch app gets a handful of useful improvements including broader support for other Android devices.

There are still stability issues regarding some apps and Google Pay isn't working yet with this beta version, so keep that in mind.
